of the migrant’s glorious dawn
i drink a wonderful cup of you
in the hour of desire
warming my heart and soul
as the rainbow lorikeet sings
i begin
to see
the world differently
feeding
the senses
like the true son
of the soil
as the sun shines through my veins
i glow like an electric blue
i start a new life of wonder
a life infused with
the mighty flow of dreams
and a good dose of love particles
as i gaze into the future
