you deliver me from the winter’s chill
in the spaces between
alienation and belonging
what if
you bring the divine light
into my life?
will the heart sing like never before?
will the springtime come with a vengeance
weeping
and flowering
like Venus on heat
like hope in the galaxy of wonder
like the hidden treasure of desire
feeding my passion
and what if
my heart beats for you as the earth moves
in the heat of the moment?
will you be
my wondrous flower of choice
and
the teddy bear of my dreams?
